We can’t keep people from shooting heroin or fentanyl in parks, we can’t stop people smoking crack; in fact, the city gives them the material to do so. But having a beer or a glass of wine? My first time in High Park after moving here in my 20s was to watch a play in the park, which I did while drinking a bottle of wine like most of those around me.
The motion passed 21-4 with just Councillors Vincent Crisanti, Stephen Holyday, Frances Nunziata and James Pasternak voting against.Article content This vote passed 18-6 with Crisanti, Holyday, Nunziata, Brad Bradford, Nick Mantas and Jamaal Myers opposing moving toward a ban.Article content
