The prices are public, there is just no way for the government to actually do anything with their supposed gun buyback program.

The government is looking to find out what expertise or capacity there is in the marketplace for collection and transportation, tracking, storage solutions, package inspection, destruction and post-destruction recycling. This is more than two years after they announced this program, and they don’t have even the basic structure, despite having already spent more than“No buyback program exists,” said Tracey Wilson, of the Canadian Centre for Firearms Rights, in an interview recently.
