.liltecca scores first Billboard Hot100 entry with 'Ran$om'
Rapper Lil Tecca, age 16, scores his first entry on theThe track opens with 9.8 million U.S. streams, up 21%, in the week ending June 6, according to Nielsen Music, with the sum driving the majority of its chart points. It also sold 1,000 copies in the tracking week, a 29% increase week-over-week.
The official video for "Ran$om," released May 22, was directed by Cole Bennett. The Queens, New York-based rapper last year emerged on SoundCloud, where he boasts nearly 75,000 followers.
