Brandon Smiley was found unresponsive inside his residence on Sunday, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said. The elder Smiley, a standup comedian and actor, was a morning show personality for KBFB-FM in Dallas in 2004. The show featured prank calls, in addition to news, information and the latest hip hop music. In 2008, Smiley signed a deal with Syndication One to take his show nationwide. His show is heard on several mainstream urban radio stations.Representatives for Smiley on Monday declined to comment further when reached by“I hate to announce this.
