Lidl customers will soon see a change to the retailer's milk after it announced it would be altering its lids.
As reported by Nottinghamshire Live, the move follows a trial that Lidl carried out with its milk supplier Müller in September. It will allow around 60 tonnes of recycled high-density polythene to be converted to food-grade packaging in the form of milk bottles.According to The Grocer, Lidl will be making the change to its green-coloured caps on semi-skimmed and organic fresh milk before November 21.
