Americans of all political stripes are certainly free to move elsewhere. We live in a land where everyone is welcome to create lives for themselves and their families. No one — certainly not DeSantis — is standing in the way of those decisions.

Parents of all orientations are more than welcome to have discussions in the confines of their own homes about a variety of subjects. But pushing talk of sexuality and gender onto young children in a public school setting is both unfair and unwise. Bills such as this are nothing close to persecution, but such facts are far too inconvenient. The dishonesty surrounding this legislation has now been in place for a year. The architects of that narrative aren't about to be truthful.

Americans of all political stripes are certainly free to move elsewhere if they so choose. We live in a land where everyone is welcome to create lives for themselves and their families. The reality is that the Parental Rights in Education law helps to ensure that children in their younger years are kept from mature and confusing indoctrination. Leftists are eager to create an alternate version of life in Florida where such a logical measure is"abuse" and the catalyst for a literal exodus by marginalized people.
