Ipswich Town are set to confirm the signing of Man City striker Liam Delap in the next 24 hours,The Tractor Boys have agreed a fee with City for the 21-year-old, who spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Hull City in the Championship, and he has been undergoing a medical on Wednesday.
Kieran McKenna’s side will pay an initial £15million for Delap with a further £5million due in add-ons.Ipswich have won the race for his signature following their promotion, beating off competition from Southampton.Delap notched eight goals and two assists in 32 appearances for Hull last season, with 26 of those outings coming as part of the starting lineup.
He joined Man City’s youth system in 2019 and made six appearances for the senior side, scoring once.
