Fancy owning part of the car that won Lewis Hamilton his most recent F1 Championship?
Hamilton signed the part of his 2020 car, which propelled him to his seventh World Championship in quite dominant fashion – breaking many of Formula 1’s long-held lap records in the process, and is currently undergoing an online auction to raise money for Austrian charity Österreichische Sporthilfe, which provides support for both able-bodied and disabled athletes in the country.
After the 2020 season looked to have been on the scrapheap after the outbreak of COVID-19, a 17-race calendar was eventually organised by Formula 1 and the sport was able to get back racing in the months after the pandemic began. And Mercedes’ creation proved to be among its most dominant in what was an already commanding era for the team, with innovations such as DAS aiding straight-line speed and its downforce capabilities leaving its competitors well in its wake.
