That's what Lewis Capaldi said to a sell-out crowd at the M&S Bank Arena last night. Lewis was certainly true to his word, captivating fans with a show full of emotional hits, but this was interspersed with the Scottish pop sensation's unique sense of humour as he cracked jokes that could rival many comedians, receiving roars of laughter from fans.
Midway through singing Bruises, Lewis stopped the track after noticing a steward crying to the song. He said: "I don't know what you've gone through in your life that made you cry to this song, but I'm glad you're healing", before picking up where he left off. Before singing Pointless, Lewis thanked the crowd for getting the track to number one. He was required to stop mid-track due to a fan fainting, ensuring they got help as quickly as possible. Before starting again, fans threw some underwear onto the stage. Lewis had the audience in stitches as he sported a pair of red knickers, before throwing them back out into the crowd.
