These past two years, the competence, training and professionalism of the RCMP has been called into question time and time again.
Professional modern policing is critical to our continued success. Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that the RCMP has no place in Surrey if we are to continue to be the fine city that we are.
People in a democratic society allow themselves to be policed if they truly believe that it is in their best interest to be policed.
