I am thankful that the state is worried for our security, but it should fully fund the bill. As a student, I should never have to choose between my safety and my education.Re: “Future rests with judge — Ruling to decide if state’s Medicaid fraud case — and maybe nonprofit — go on,” Wednesday news story.
I was disappointed in the use of “a Trump appointee” to describe the judge in the Planned Parenthood case. As I follow the national news, I see this term used constantly by the mainstream media, yet I don’t recall seeing a similar description used when a presiding judge was appointed by President Joe Biden or any other president.
I admire his courage and tenacity in entering the race for the presidency, however slim his chances are of actually winning the nomination. I wish him the best in the upcoming debates.In the little I’ve read about a potential ticket by No Labels, nowhere that I’ve seen has Liz Cheney been mentioned as a possible candidate. What a statesperson she has turned out to be. A friend in Minneapolis who has been a lifelong Democrat heard her speak just a few months ago.
