MISGUIDED TARGET
It is encouraging to learn that the Liberals are finally taking the protection of Canada’s sovereignty seriously by acquiring new aircraft for our under-equipped Armed Forces. But at the same time, it is discouraging to see the large “defund war” banner in front of Parliament Hill and to read that activists believe that the money required should be spent on other priorities. It seems to me that these misguided activist groups should be protesting in front of the Kremlin, not Parliament Hill.
Is it not amazing that millions of poor immigrants from all backgrounds with little education came to Canada and made a good life for themselves? How did they ever do it?Defunding the police is just a stupid idea. These days, they need all the resources they can get. I’ve heard people cry that the money would be better spent on my community services. Well, I’ve got a better idea than that. How about raising your kids better. If you did that, they might just not turn out to become criminals.
