Together, we can bridge the partisan divide and ensure the well-being of millions of individuals affected by this devastating disease. PEPFAR’s impact cannot be overstated!The President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief saves millions of lives in the fight against HIV and AIDS worldwide. It’s disheartening to see this program’s funding at risk due to bipartisan disagreements. Countless people desperately depend on it for lifesaving care.
For a long while now, I have felt that no air conditioning in Texas prisons is an ironic and outrageous miscarriage of justice. This well-written op-ed by Harris made my heart hurt deeply and my sense of fairness explode.
Your story made me think that Roberts could have included the cost of Abbott defending his barrier against any number of broken treaties — 1899 Rivers and Harbors Act, 1944 Mexican Water Treaty, 1970 Boundary Treaty. She could have included the cost of addressing Mexico’s concerns. After all, it is that country’s river, too.
