3. Logical: execution as a method to teach the inappropriate evil of murder is illogical on its face. How does this make sense? When more and more people are being pushed out of their homes, how is this compassion? Not in my back yard means not wanting homeless shelters in their neighborhoods, and cities don’t want to budget for housing. How does this conform to the Constitution’s obligation to “promote the general welfare” of its citizens?Hayden makes excellent arguments for the review; thank you.
