This would fly directly in the face of the call from U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who urged carbon-free electricity generation in the developed world by 2035, meaning no gas-fired power plants, too. Warming is already impacting everything from agriculture to fresh water availability. Sadly, the deniers and lapdogs for the fossil fuel industry are in charge.I understand and sympathize with the current effort for cold-warring with China. But, can we think about the big picture?
