Governments can only cut or raise per capita funding. The schools’ leaders must allocate funds. I bet that administrative costs related to staffing is up significantly in the last two decades. Now, many schools have increased the foreign student numbers to receive higher revenues, which has also created a parallel immigration system with the federal government gladly joining in.
Is there anyone willing to stand up? All I see are talkers who can go on for hours about the common people but really couldn’t give a hoot as long as they get their elected pension plans and perks. Come on Canada, we can do better than this!I am sure there are good ideas in the Housing and Affordability Task Force report but the recommendation to change the base zoning to R-CG is not one of them.
