Everyone is demanding we build hundreds of thousands of new houses for every walk of life. Good idea — but we have the cart before the horse. To build anything, we need construction workers. At this time we are about 50,000 workers short. Thus, people should stop building their political profile insisting they’ll build more housing unless they first show us where we are going to get the builders.
