I was sick at heart on reading last week’s story about the plight of farmworkers in Half Moon Bay . Shades of grape pickers in the ’60s. Will this injustice never end?

The November 2022 ballot listed six candidates for two positions; now there is a third position. Voters made their wishes known in November. Why waste the time and energy with an application process? The city should acknowledge and accept the will of the voters and appoint the candidate that was the third highest vote-getter on the ballot.

I feel the trend is less about left versus right and more about what actually works and what doesn’t.Remove liability shields for police and high tech
