Elected was Geraldine Weir, president, Wilfred Bartlett, vice-president, Margaret Careen, treasurer, Viola Dawe, secretary, Eva Bishop, 2nd vice, directors: Mary Corbett, from Holyrood, Phyllis Bishop, and Bill Cox .
Later on the same day at a card game, it was announced by the president, with Elaine Hutchings at her side, that the treasurer had resigned and right out of the blue, that the board had removed me from the position of vice president without any explanation of what I had done. Two top board members gone in one day.
