I turn 75 soon and want to make it there. But since supermarket parking lots have become raceways, twice in the past week, I’ve had to slam on the brakes to avoid being broadsided by young men racing through to God knows where in such a hurry.

Then there was the total out-and-out breaking of the traffic laws, for sure. I was at the traffic lights where Belvedere intersects Brackley Point Road and exits to St. Peters Road. Two cars in front of me, and I can clearly see the traffic light situated on the grassed area of the Esso gas Station, and then the traffic lights across the St. Peters Road. My feeling is, I wait until the traffic light is green on the Esso property, before I go forward. Aha! Not so for the two drivers ahead of me.

What else can I say?Yesterday I enjoyed a lovely meal at a restaurant in Summerside. Everything was great but for one small detail...
