The power grid in North America currently can’t sustain a fraction of us switching to electric vehicles, not to mention heat pumps as well. Do you remember in the news when Californians were asked not to charge their electric vehicles on Labour Day weekend in 2022? Is it practical to have excessive climate change policies in play without the proper infrastructure being in place?
However, do you honestly believe that any efforts here in Canada are going to have a real-world impact when the largest polluters are located on the other side of the world? At least one of those countries has minimal and questionable human rights in place.
The Liberal government’s ideology continues with a last-minute ban through Bill C-21 of certain types of hunting rifles and shotguns that have been used for decades by hunters in this country. When in fact, handguns smuggled in from the United States and the criminals that make use of them are the main source of violent crime in Canada. Is this making any sense?
