Twelve municipal employees who have been paid while sitting at home for more than a year and half say they want to go back to work and not waste taxpayers’ money.

The employees were suspended by the Emakhazeni local municipality for taking part in an unprotected strike in February last year over unconducive working conditions, but even after winning their cases at disciplinary
