, it is not the time to point fingers or question the decision. Instead, we should be coming up with quick solutions to help the stranded youngsters.
It is a pity that all of these allegations, which were reported to the department over the years by students, were not taken seriously before. In the meantime, about 13 000 students have been left in the lurch and, with the first quarter of the academic calendar already behind us, it is unclear what will happen to them, particularly given the shortage of higher education institutions in the country.
