Lesotho's opposition shifts focus to deputy speaker, as plan to oust prime minister stalls
Lesotho opposition parties, undeterred by the stalling of their motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Samuel Matekane through a court challenge, are now set to push for another motion against the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Tsepang Mosene.
The opposition party's latest manoeuvre is intended to ensure that Mosene, who is a member of the Movement for Economic Change , which is an ally of Matekane’s party, Revolution for Prosperity , is found nowhere in Parliament to sabotage their plans to remove Matekane. South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future. News24 has kept the country informed for 25 years, and we're about to enter a new chapter of fearless journalism.
