Leonardo DiCaprio hopes Don’t Look Up can help “recreate the narrative” around the climate crisis.

Likewise, DiCaprio told the audience he had for a long time been looking for a film that would explore the climate crisis in a film. “This movie was like a godsend in a lot of ways. How do you create a sense of urgency and tension with an issue that evolves over a century?” he said.
DiCaprio, known for his climate activism, spoke passionately during the Q&A. In the film, his character’s warnings are falling on deaf ears, especially to those in power. “It just reminded me of all the frustration that I felt from having spoken to numerous climate scientists of, ‘how do I articulate this message of urgency to the general public?’” he said.which Netflix will release in theaters in a limited run on Dec. 10 and on the platform on Dec.
