The inside track on the football stories that matter
Leicester City have been priced out of a move to sign Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson after talks between the clubs,, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that talks had taken place between the two clubs, but Arsenal’s £20million asking price proved too steep.
West Ham also held interest in the winger earlier in the transfer window, but that interest has cooled as a result of Crysenico Summerville’s arrival. It has become clear that he does not feature as a major part of Mikel Arteta’s plans, and the club are keen to entertain offers for him before the transfer deadline.
