It follows a winless run in the Premier League
Leeds United have confirmed that Jesse Marsch has been relieved of his duties as head coach and that the process of finding his replacement is already underway in an official club statement released on Monday afternoon.
His departure follows shortly after Everton's decision to sack Frank Lampard and the Toffees' shock 1-0 win against league leaders Arsenal may well have prompted the Whites to take action. The club face Manchester United twice in the space of four days this week but Marsch will not be in the dugout for either of the games as they look to find a new head coach for the remainder of the season.
A club statement read: "Leeds United can confirm head coach Jesse Marsch has been relieved of his duties. Jesse joined the club in February 2022 and was instrumental in keeping the club in the Premier League on the final day of last season.
