Leeds United fans could play a crucial role and 'drag' their team into the latter stages of the Championship promotion race. That is the view of Gordon Strachan, who reckons the Whites are one of up to ten teams who could be in contention come the end of the season.
The Whites along with fellow relegated sides Leicester City and Southampton are considering among the favourites to secure a swift return to the Premier League. However, many believe it could be the most competitive promotion battle in years, and Strachan does not see anyone running away with the top-two spots like Burnley and Sheffield United last season.
