Newman is back in action after three months on the sidelines.
Harry Newman will make his long-awaited Leeds Rhinos return off the bench in their Super League clash with Warrington Wolves. The centre, who has missed around three months of action with a hamstring problem, has been named in Rohan Smith's seventeen-man squad for the contest.
A side featuring three changes, David Fusitu'a and Sam Walters also return from injury, with Luis Roberts, Justin Sangare and Jack Sinfield making way. It's a strong-looking Leeds side, with Nene Macdonald back in centre, with the wing spot he had been occupying being taken up by the fit-again Fusitu'a.
Sam Walters' return sees him go straight back into the starting line-up, with Tom Holroyd back to the bench. Luke Hooley and Corey Johnson return their starting spots in the spine, playing fullback and halfback respectively. Smith's decision to start Newman on the bench is the same tactic he used on his previous return to injury. Newman made his most recent injury return in round four of this year's Super League, scoring with his first touch after coming off the bench. He was gradually given an increased number of minutes before playing full games as his recovery went on.
