Sunny Bank Mill can be found in Farsley and has plenty to see and do
It’s situated in a picturesque part of town, on the main road into Farsley, Town Street. Located among numerous book shops, cafes and other locations, the mill sits well in its environment.
When I went for a visit, on a rainy Thursday in the middle of Storm Babet, there weren’t too many visitors, but this made the experience nice and tranquil. I started off my trip with a visit to the gallery itself, which contained displays from lots of different local artists. Next up, I began to head outside onto the mill-grounds themselves where all sorts of old pieces of industrial equipment were still left around for you to look at. From old cogs to pieces of rebar, the industrial heritage of the site was obvious.
