LEAFS NOTES: Fourth line looking to build off its Game 2 impact:
Sure, it’s a small sample size when it comes to reviewing what rookie winger Matthew Knies has brought to the Leafs.
“He has come in after playing very high-leverage games in college, it’s a different skill set and different pace, but he does not look out of place by any means,” Leafs defenceman Jake McCabe said. In Game 2, Knies nearly scored after keeping control of the puck deep in the Tampa end while fending off defenceman Nick Perbix.
