Leaf notes: Emotional return for Luke Schenn via sunhornby
“It’s almost like another lifetime ago. But I’m thrilled, looking forward to getting back, heading to the most important time of the year. I never got the chance to play meaningful hockey here. It’s a dream come true.”Schenn didn’t expect to know any Leaf staffers when he came back on Wednesday, but the first he encountered was skills coach Nik Antropov, his teammate for three years.
“That No. 2 is probably the only Leaf jersey that family and friends back home own. You want to try and put it to good use. I’ve worn other , but it’s come full circle.
