A significant development occurred in the case of missing 22-year-old, Frishcke, during the recent testimonial of lead investigator Dudley Truter. Truter revealed that Frishcke was stabbed in the back following a robbery, adding a chilling new layer to the investigation. Despite extensive efforts involving local authorities, private investigators, and a R20 000 reward offered by Frishcke's family, locating him remains elusive.
Five suspects were initially arrested in possession of Frishcke's belongings, identified as Igshaan Fisher, Jason Adonis, Vanroy Petersen, Carlo Guenantin, and Melvin Guenantin. They appeared in the Wynberg Regional Court in October 2023, facing charges of aggravated robbery and firearm possession. This week, the case returned to court, with all suspects except Jason Adonis present. During his testimony, Truter disclosed that Melvin Guenantin implicated his co-defendant, Ishaam Fischer, stating that it was Fischer who stabbed Frishcke in the back after robbing him.Truter further elaborated on details from an affidavit confirming that following the stabbing, Frishcke appeared weak and unable to walk properly. Frishcke's cellphone was one of the items stolen during the robbery. Significantly, Truter revealed that the cellphone was recovered from Guenantin's possession
