TOWIE star Lauren Goodger sparked a fierce debate online this week as she listed a red fox fur coat for sale on Instagram in order to raise money to help an animal charity
Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger courted controversy as she took to Instagram to sell a coat made from red fox fur.
Alongside an image of the garment, she wrote: “Vintage fur long brown/caramel red fox coat item not my own .. was given by a friends mother when she passed worth 4k sale 1k.” “This needs to go in the bin,” protested one follower, while another agreed adding “This needs to be set fire to !!!' Fur farms were banned in the UK in 2003, meaning that fur coats are now no longer manufactured or able to be sold new, however a number of coats still exist on the second hand market.
