Colorado congresswoman Lauren Boebert has been fact-checked online after saying she helped acquire money for infrastructure despite voting against the bill that secured the funding.In a March 18 statement and post on social media, Boebert described how her 3rd Congressional District will receive more than $20 million for water and infrastructure projects. Boebert said 10 of the community funding projects she requested were approved as part of H.R.
'The Republicans Against Trump social media account, which has more than 620,000 followers on X, added: 'But you voted against this bill. Have you no shame?'Boebert's office has been contacted for comment via email.In the March 18 statement, Boebert's office said the congresswoman 'played a key role' in fixing the process for community project funding requests while House Republicans were negotiating who to replace Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker in 2023.
