Latest on the independent probe into deadly George Building collapse incidentThe Western Cape Government says there is progress in the independent probe into the deadly George building collapse incident that claimed 34 lives in May., a building collapsed at 75 Victoria Street in George, Western Cape and most of the victims were illegal immigrants.
Minister of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers said his department is monitoring the process closely to ensure that all investigations are thorough and conclusive. Western Cape Premier Alan Winde said they understand that the families of the victims are desperate for answers as this happened in their province.
