Around 17,000 people are expected to take part in parades across Northern Ireland this weekend

A series of parades are set to take place across Northern Ireland this bank holiday weekend, with police issuing traffic and travel guidance in advance.

Police have urged motorists to seek an alternative route to avoid any potential delays if they're planning on travelling in areas where parades will be taking place. Here is the latest information issued from police: The parade will then make its way along Prince William Road – Thiepval Road – Chapel Hill – Bow Street – Castle Street - Seymour Street – Belfast Road – Wallace Park.

Larne The parade in Larne will start on Glenarm Road, before making its way onto Main Street, High Street, Bridge Street, Station Road and Circular Road, and back again via the same route. There will be temporary traffic disruption in place during the duration of the parade with limited access to the town centre from all approaching routes.
