Ohio State linebacker Tommy Eichenberg goes to the Las Vegas Raiders with the No. 148 overall pick in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft.
At Ohio State he was known for his grunts, surehanded tackling and being a two-time captain. Now, he's a pro football player.
Eichenberg joins his former Ohio State teammate Thayer Munford on the Raiders’ roster. He’ll also be coached by a former linebacker in Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce, a prospect he was excited about when asked about the Raiders at the NFL Scouting Combine. He missed three of his final four games at OSU due to a dislocated elbow suffered in a November game against Rutgers, which left a sour taste in Eichenberg's mouth.
