SINGAPORE: A large hole has opened up along Jalan Pantai Permai in the Kuala Lumpur suburb of Kampung Kerinchi due to a collapsed drain. In a Facebook post on Tuesday (Aug 27), the Kuala Lumpur City Hall said it was aware of the incident in Bangsar South.

The site where the drain collapsed led to a huge hole at Kampong Perinchi, Jalan Pantai Permai on Aug 26, 2024. SINGAPORE: A large hole has opened up along Jalan Pantai Permai in the Kuala Lumpur suburb of Kampung Kerinchi due to a collapsed drain.

No injuries or casualties were reported, with pictures showing the hole had affected part of the footpath and the road.Malaysian media reported that a ground penetrating radar had been brought in by the country's nuclear agency to aid in the search. She was reportedly on a two-month holiday in Malaysia with her family and was due to return home soon.
