A landlord shot and killed two tenants before barricading himself in their residence and opening fire on police, say cops.

Police initially contained the area in an attempt to peacefully end the incident. During the negotiations, the suspect fired at police. The Special Investigations Unit has invoked their mandate. Police say there is no longer a threat to public safety and families of both victims have been notified.Share this Story:
