A fiery crash along U.S. Route 222 early Sunday morning in Ephrata left the driver with minor injuries, police said. Ephrata policeA Lancaster man was injured in an early Sunday morning crash on U.S. Route 222 in Ephrata, Lancaster County.
Ephrata police said the vehicle was traveling southbound just north of the Ephrata U.S. Route 322 exit around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, when it left the roadway and rolled over several times into the wooded area along the west side of the southbound lanes. The small Toyota sedan came to rest on its roof in a small creek bed when it caught on fire, police said.The driver, Wilkin Valera, 23, of Lancaster was able to crawl from the burning wreckage and sustained minor injuries.
