The Met Office is predicting more heavy rain for Saturday and Sunday - check out the latest forecast for Blackpool, Preston, Lancaster, Blackburn and Burnley
Storm Ciaran is continuing to wreak havoc across the UK with nearly 100 flood warnings in place, school closures and thousands of properties left without power.
The named storm - which first made landfall in southern England on Wednesday night - was initially estimated to be around 300 miles wide. Met Office meteorologist Aidan McGivern said: "Hopefully the worst of it is now easing at it moves away."Ciaran is moving into the North Sea. It’s weakening. It is filling but it’s still bringing quite a blustery wind to many places."
In Preston, cloudy skies will give way to rain between 3pm and 8pm while Lancaster will enjoy the best of Friday's weather with lots of sunshine before a downpour between 6pm and 7pm.
