The motorway junctions set to be closed this week
With school finished for the six-week break soon, you may want to get on the road and to your final destination as quickly as possible, but it's important to plan your route beforehand. For Lancashire residents, planned works by National Highways often take place overnight, but if you're looking to be on the road during the darker hours, you may want to see if you'll be affected.
Work started on Friday, February 17 in order to help people get from A to B safely. Overnight closures will be in place, as it appears the road is still being worked on. These essential repairs started on Monday, July 3 and is expected to be complete by the end of August. It is taking place overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Monday to Friday. Working hours will be extended to 7am on Saturday mornings.
