Some Guys With A Camera spent three years making the original series, Birchall's Pints, filmed in Ormskirk and Liverpool
A group of young film-makers from West Lancashire have managed to create a six-part drama series during lockdown about a fictional brewery - whose bosses plotted to kidnap an MP in a bid to force a lowering of beer tax.
Matthew, who was just 15 when he set up Some Guys With A Camera, revealed that the series was shot over just 19 days. He added: “Birchall’s Pints encapsulates the camaraderie and communal spirit of what it’s like to make a project with such limited resources."With an ensemble cast of around 50 local talented actors, countless volunteers and an inspiring campaign behind it – people always say “create the thing you want to see” and that’s exactly what we’ve done."Episode Guide 1.
