Lamar Consolidated ISD has purchased land along Fulshear Bend Drive in Cross Creek Ranch from Johnson Development as the site of a new elementay school.Lamar Consolidated Independent School District has purchased a site in Fulshear's Cross Creek Ranch for its fifth campus, and second elementary school, in the master-planned community.
The district acquired 14.9 acres along Fulshear Bend Drive, just north of the Fulshear High School complex, from Johnson Development. It will join other Lamar Consolidated schools of Huggins Elementary, Roberts Middle School, Dean Leaman Junior High and Fulshear High School upon opening in August 2024.The school will be adjacent to a planned recreation complex in Creek Rush at Cross Creek Ranch, one of the last sections to be developed in the 3,200-acre master planned community.
Part of Cross Creek Ranch is zoned to Katy Independent School District. Katy ISD students attend James E. Randolph Elementary, Campbell Elementary, Adams Junior High and Jordan High School.
