“We envisioned making the playoffs this year, but certainly this was beyond our expectations,” LAFC coach Steven Cherundolo said.The Galaxy rallied for a 1-1 draw against Real Salt Lake, securing a playoff berth and rewarding a sellout crowd Saturday on fan appreciation night. The Timbers were undefeated in their last five games going into the match, which was the final home game at Providence Park. Portland was undefeated in its previous nine there.
