A Northern Alberta teacher has been charged after allegedly physically assaulting a student.
On Oct. 19, Lac La Biche RCMP received a report that a youth had been assaulted by their teacher at a local school, police said in a news release Wednesday. On Dec. 29, Michael Lorne McArthur, 59, a resident of Lac La Biche, was charged with one count of assault. He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche provincial court on March 13.
