Load shedding, stabbings and a pupil experiencing labour pains were among the disruptions reported during the current National Senior Certificate examinations, which ends in less than two weeks.

Gauteng education MEC Matome Chiloane held a media briefing at Parktown Boys High School to give an update on exams and the progress of the 2023 online admissions pupil placements.The Gauteng Department of Education is confident it will finish the examination period without hindrance in the next 10 days.
