Speaking to the Glasgow Times, Rayner said an incoming Labour government would look to raise the living standards for all working people.She said: “Our policy is costed that, at 18, all adults will get the same amount of money as part of that living wage.”The highest is for people aged 23 and over is £10.42 an hour.The lowest rate is £5.28 for 16 and 17-year-olds.
"That’s not acceptable. People who go to work should be able to have a holiday and not have to worry about paying their bills.
