Keir Starmer will bring his party to Liverpool with a big lead in the polls
Beginning on Sunday and running until Wednesday , the conference will be held at ACC Liverpool on the waterfront, while other events will take place across the city centre. Pictures captured by the ECHO yesterday show the party's branding on the M&S Bank Arena as well as security measures being set up.
Sir Keir Starmer will make his case to be the next Prime Minister during the conference as he looks to take advantage of Labour's substantial lead in the polls. On the back of a Tory party conference in Manchester which drew criticism for the ruling party's plans to scrap HS2, Labour have been given a good chance to make their case to voters.
Sir Keir's keynote speech will take place on Tuesday, while Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves will address attendees on Monday. ECHO reporters will be inside the centre and at fringe events for the entire event, bringing you the latest. And, if you want a daily digest of all that's gone on at the conference sent directly to your inbox, then you can sign up to our Liverpool Daily Post newsletter for free by clicking here.
The newsletter will be sent from the conference each morning, keeping you across all the big stories.
